Luca Ferasin

Dr. Ferasin graduated with honors in 1992 from the University of Bologna and spent three years doing endocrinology research at the BBSRC Institute in Cambridge, gaining his PhD in 1996. After a spell as Assistant Professor at Padua University he moved to Bristol University Veterinary School as a cardiology lecturer. He was appointed Professor in Cardiology at the University of Minnesota in 2005 before returning to the UK in 2008 to work in various referral institutions. A European and RCVS Recognized Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology, his main interests include feline cardiology, exercise physiology, and the investigation and management of syncope and coughing.
