Claw fold disease in cats – the allergy mimicker

Claw fold disease is not seen as often in cats compared to dogs. When it does occur, certain diseases (such as pemphigus foliaceus and dermatophytosis) should be higher on the differential list than allergies. Photos of canine and feline claw fold disease will be compared. Also, review a case presentation of a cat with pemphigus foliaceus.
