Dr. Anne-Marie Germain graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999. She spent the next 9 years in general small animal practice, the latter half of which she devoted to one of her passions, feline medicine. She joined the Technical Services team at Royal Canin in 2008. In her position, she works with veterinary teams across Canada to design individualized nutritional and management plans for their patients. When she is not providing consultations, she works closely with the Canadian Veterinary Urolith Centre and dedicates most of her time to activities related to the management of urinary tract disease in cats and dogs, including FIC and urolithiasis management. With her vast knowledge and unmatched passion for this topic, she is always glad to share practical tips and her expertise to help manage even the most challenging cases. She is also a huge advocate for feline environmental needs, practicing what she recommends on her own two cats, Benjamin and Ellie, who are currently in training to take on the Guinness World Record for most tricks performed by a cat in one minute.
