Georgia Woods-Lee qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2004 from Myerscough College, Preston, UK. After working in a mixed practice, a multidisciplinary referral center and a ECC hospital, Georgia was appointed as Head Nurse and clinical coach of a small animal practice in 2010. Since June 2015, Georgia has been the Royal Canin® Weight Management Clinic Nurse at the University of Liverpool, Small Animal Teaching Hospital, UK, where she focuses exclusively on pet obesity care and nutrition. Georgia is involved in research and provides nutrition training for vets, nurses and technicians from all over the world. She gained her Certificate in Canine and Feline Veterinary Health Nutrition in 2017, the American Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) Certificate in Nutrition in 2019, and her BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing (Top up) degree in 2022.
