After completing her studies, Ms. Lutonsky obtained her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification and began working on her dissertation, which focuses on balance and stability in animals. She also currently works as a research assistant on a project dedicated to studying postural stability in elderly dogs.

Balance training for dogs

Older dogs and those with orthopedic and neurological conditions often suffer from impaired balance and poor postural stability; balance exercises are an integral part of any rehabilitation program for such patients, and can be a key part in facilitating a better quality of life.
