Dr. Peyron graduated from the National Veterinary School of Lyon in 2007 and had a year of advanced training at Aquivet Veterinary Hospital near Bordeaux before completing a European College residency in Companion Animal Internal Medicine, finishing the program in 2013. After six years as an internist at the Languedocia Veterinary Hospital in Montpellier, she joined the Idexx laboratory medical consultancy team. Dr. Peyron confirmed her specialist title by obtaining her Diploma in Specialized Veterinary Studies (DESV) in internal medicine in 2020.
