Dr. Yozova graduated in 2007 from the Veterinary Faculty of Trakia University, Bulgaria and went on to do a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary College of Toulouse, France before moving to a private emergency practice on the French Riviera. She then completed an ACVECC residency and a doctoral thesis at Vetsuisse, University of Bern, Switzerland, attaining ACVECC Diplomate status in 2017 and ECVECC diplomate status in 2019. Dr. Yozova is currently a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care at Massey University and director of the ECVECC residency program in their Companion Animal Hospital. She is also a member of the Massey University Veterinary Emergency Response team.
