Liesbeth Verhoef-Hamers has worked as a certified paraveterinair at a major Netherlands animal hospital for over 18 years. Throughout her career she has gained extensive experience as an all-round veterinary technician/nurse and head technician/nurse, with a passion for pet nutrition, and was awarded her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialist) Certification in Nutrition in 2024. As well as serving as chairwoman of the AniCura Medical Interest Group (MIG) for Nutrition, and moderating the AniCura Pet Food Forum (PFF), she organizes training sessions, courses, and other events for the company, and is a frequent guest lecturer on topics such as pet nutrition and communication.
