Dr. Bailey is a 1982 graduate of the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. After completing a radiology residency at Michigan State University he remained there as an assistant professor of Veterinary Radiology before moving to The Ohio State University, where he pioneered veterinary radiologic telemedicine. Leaving academia, Dr. Bailey opened the first veterinary CT imaging center in Ohio, offering ultrasound, radiological and endoscopy services for the private practitioner. He is now head radiologist for Banfield Pet Hospital. Dr. Bailey has presented at numerous international veterinary and human meetings on radiographic and ultrasound imaging and medical informatics, and has published over 30 articles on these subjects.
